The goal of this site is to educate viewers about different diseases and situations that warrant a trip to the vet as well as interesting pet facts, news and veterinary knowledge quizzes. This site also offers career information for veterinarians, technicians, and those hoping to be admitted to veterinary school.

- Q. But my pet is sick -- I need answers!A. The first thing to do anytime your animal is sick, injured, or just "not quite right" is to call your vet. A proper veterinary exam is always preferable to any advice found on a web page, via email, or forum post. There isn't any substitute for a hands-on exam and consultation.
